Mrs. Lynda C. Guy, 72, of Gaston, SC, died Thursday, November 3, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Gaston First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Laneir Singleton officiating. Mrs. Guy was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late John Eugene and Helen Stanfield Conn.She was a Registered Nurse working with the Columbia Eye Clinic and was a member of the Gaston First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William B. Guy, a son, Brian S. Guy; daughter, Jennifer G. Young; daughter-in-law, Debra Guy; grandchildren, Jonathan Dishon, Caroline Guy, William B. Guy, III, Madison Young, Benjamin Young and Sophia Young; brothers, John Conn and Terry (Pat) Conn.She was predeceased by a son, William B. Guy, Jr. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) of North is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
