Lydia Joyce Johnson

Lydia Joyce Johnson, 58, of Swansea, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19th, at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Hardenbrook officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born in Norton, Virginia a daughter of the late Charles Echo Neeley and Louise Lindsey Rucker.She was retired from SCDOT and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, C. E. Johnson of the home; one daughter, Katelyn Johnson and one son, Jacob Johnson both of the home; three step-sons, Robert Johnson, Brian Johnson and Jason Johnson; brothers and sisters, Judy Silvey, Troy Neeley, Vicki Hair, Cheryl Furtick and Robert Neeley; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Furtick, 3248 Pine Plain Road, Swansea, SC.
