Lucy Tyler Mobley

Lucy Tyler Mobley, 88, of Orangeburg, S. C. passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Mrs. Mobley was born in Orangeburg, S. C., a daughter of the late Malcolm Cecil Tyler and the late Lucy Iva Livingston Tyler.  Mrs. Mobley was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Orangeburg, S. C. and was retired from Bell South.

Survivors include a son, Jeff (Rebecca) Calcutt of Irmo, S. C.; daughter, Iva (Carl) Strock of Cope, S. C.; brothers, Jenkins Tyler of Hendersonville, N. C.; three grandchildren, Harriett French, Carlee Herlong and Lucy Carter and six great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, William Bradley Mobley, Sr., a sister, Alice Stokes Hightower and a brother, Jerry Tyler.

Pallbearers will be Matt Stokes, Nate Nivens, Bryant Mabry, David Berry, Frank Tyler and Trace Harter.
