Lucille Swygert Covington

Lucille Swygert Covington, 76, of Swansea, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. The family request no services. Mrs. Covington was born in Columbia, S. C., a daughter of Jake Swygert and Rozelle Sheely Swygert.She liked watching “Days of our Lives” and loved taking care of her grandchildren. Survivors include sons, Tommy (Hazel) Jackson, Roy (Linda) Jackson and Buddy Eden; six grandchildren; a special great granddaughter, Kadence, twelve great grandchildren a brother, Gene Swygert; three sisters, Patricia (Bobby) Wilson, Joan (David) Monts and Leah (Tison) Kelly; three step-daughters, two step-sons and their families.Mrs. Covington was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Franklin Covington and a daughter, Celeste Jackson. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North is assisting the family.
