Louise Hutto Chavis

Louise Hutto Chavis, 87, of Neeses, died Saturday, January 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2013, at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Legrande Taylor and Rev. Henry Chavis officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Chavis was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Clifton and Hattie Mae Spires Chavis.She was formerly employed by Stone Manufacturing Company and was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church.She was predeceased by her husbands, Edward “Bud” Hutto and Wiley Chavis. Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn (Jim) Thorpe of North and Becky (Don) Hutto of Neeses; one son, Bubba Hutto of Neeses; four grandchildren, Cindy Hutto, Monica Yarborough, Jackie Hutto and Brittany Livingston; and three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, McKinley, and Bryson.She was predeceased by two grandsons, Timmy and David. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North and other times at her home 3249 Ninety Six Road, Neeses.
