Lora Beth Jackson Rucker

Lora Beth Jackson Rucker, 73, of Swansea, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

A private Memorial Service will be held to celebrate her life.

Mrs. Rucker was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Jack Jackson and Jacquelyn Craft Jackson Rucker.  Mrs. Rucker devoted over thirty years to the children of Lexington District 4 managing food services and advocating the nourishment and wellness of the youth of our area.  She was a beloved mother, nana, and friend. Lora Beth was strong, willful, and fiercely independent till her last day.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include sons, Reid (Kristen) Rucker and Jim (Tina) Rucker; grandchildren, Ryan Rucker, Jack Rucker, Jackson Rucker, Kentzler Rucker, Rowan Rucker and special friends, Karl Ann Eleazer and Debbie Peagler.
