Lonnie K. “Bucky” Neese, Jr., 66, of Swansea, died Monday, May 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Hardenbrook officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Neese was born in Lexington County, SC, a Son of the late Lonnie K. and Alline Williams Neese, Sr. He was a retired electrician with the state of SC and was a member of Swansea First Baptist Church.He was married to the late Brenda M. Neese. Survivors include children, Laura Kay Williams, Lonnie K Neese, III, and Lesleigh Neese, all of Swansea; three grandchildren, Hillary Williams, Buddy Neese and Kyle Neese; three sisters, Vernell (O’Neal) Martin, Kay (Shelton) Hoffman and Delores (David) Zeigler.He was predeceased by two sisters, Narva Lee (Tom) Williams and Shirley (Edward) Reynolds. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North and other times at the home 956 Basil Road, Swansea.
