Linda Johnson Rucker

May 9, 1942 — August 22, 2022

Linda Johnson Rucker, 80, of Lexington, S. C. passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2022.  She was predeceased in death by her husband, O.G. Rucker, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, 1601 St. Matthews Road, Swansea, S. C.  29160 with Rev. Terry Wilder officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Linda was the daughter of the late Olena Johnson Keller and the late Clarence Earl Johnson.  She was a former member of Swansea First Baptist Church and a member of White Knoll Baptist Church.  Linda was a graduate of Swansea High School.  Linda retired from Van Lott/John Deere Equipment.  She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her son, David (Cindy) Rucker; her daughters, Susan (Donny) Glenn and Nancy (Mike) Lee.  Her grandchildren, Ryan Rucker, Jacob (Brook) Glenn, Lindsay Horton, Amy (Eric) Moss, Allison Glenn and Clay Rouse and a great-grandson, Grady Ray Glenn, along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Leeza’s Care Connection, 201 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, S. C.  29210.
