Linda Lee Berry Cassidy

Linda Lee Berry Cassidy, 79, of Swansea, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 28, 2022 at Swansea First Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Wilder officiating. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Melrose Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cassidy was the daughter of the late Hozzie Lee and Laverne Reed Berry. She was a member of Swansea First Baptist Church where she served in various rolls and was a member of the Metallic Club. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with an associate’s degree and was a member of Swansea Community Leaders Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who never met a stranger. Survivors include her husband, R.L. Cassidy; a son, Lee Monroe (Kristie) Cassidy; grandchildren, Morgan (Clayton) Fertick, Savannah Cassidy and Isabella Cassidy; sister, Rebecca Kirkland; brother, Jimmy (Sarah) Berry; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Todd Cassidy. Memorials can be made to Swansea First Baptist Church P. O. Box 550 Swansea, SC 29160. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday at Swansea First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
