Letha Ruth Poole, 77, of Swansea, SC, died Saturday January 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 12, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church in Swansea, SC with Rev David Carter officiating.Burial will be in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Swansea, SC. The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 PM, one hour before the service. Mrs. Poole was born in Swansea, SC, a daughter of the late Perry and Virginia Lawson.She retired as the cafeteria manager for Carolina Eastman Company and was a member of Ebenezer UMC.She loved gardening, quilting and working with the Hen House Ministry.She was the wife of the late Frank L. Poole, Jr. Survivors include one son, Clay Poole (Wendy); a sister, Hazel Walling; brother, Ray Lawson (Cathy); two grandchildren, Brandon Poole (Blaine) and Kaci Bailey (Josh) and one great-grandchild, Cason Poole.She was predeceased by two sons, Charles Poole and Fred Poole; brothers, Carl Lawson, Cline Lawson and sisters, Mildred Williams and Janie Stabler. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com).
