Laura Ann Spires Johnson, 70, of North, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her husband, Jack H. Johnson. Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, burial services will be private.A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Johnson was born in Orangeburg County and predeceased by her parents, Jessie and Gertrude Bruner Spires.Mrs. Johnson was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church of North, SC until her declining health.She loved the Lord and her family.She was a retired bridge operator. Survivors include one sister, Peggy (John) Decker of Summerville; brothers, Bobby Spires and Allen (Dale) Spires, both of North; granddaughter, London Williams-Butler and her parents, Marion Butler and Abby Williams of North, S. C.; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Sandra Speer. The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Myra Ardis, RN and Angelia Martin, CNA of Regency Southern Care Hospice of Orangeburg, SC, for their care, dedication and love during this time.
