Mr. Larkin C. Saylor, 88, of Swansea, SC, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2015, at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. David Carter officiating.Burial will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mr. Saylor was born in Sandy Run, SC, a son of the late Vandy Vastine and Allie Furtick Saylor.He was a retired brick mason and was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church.He served as Deacon and was a member of the Adult Sunday School class.He was first married to the late Delene Jumper Saylor for 53 years.His second marriage was to the late Loretta Smith-Saylor. Survivors include his daughter, Wanda (Allan) Culler and son, Steve (Pam) Saylor; daughter-in-law, Rosa Saylor; grandchildren, Adele (Stuart) Harmon, Tobin (John) Guerry, Allie (Zane) Henderson, Larkin Saylor, Jennifer Culler and Stephanie (Chris) Knight and ten great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by a son Donald C. Saylor and two grandsons, Ryan Culler and Chandler Saylor. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Faith Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Wanda Culler, 1406 St. Matthews Road, Swansea, SC 29160 or Stephanie Knight, 1535 Basil Road, Swansea, SC 29160.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements and assisting the family.
