Kippton Darren Jackson

Kippton Darren Jackson, 60, of Gaston passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery 2805 North Road, North, SC 29112.

Mr. Jackson was born in Columbia, S. C., a son of Woodrow Sherrell Jackson, Jr. and Mary Lee Jumper Jackson.  He was known as the Horse Whisper. Kippton was always seen riding his Palamino mare, Pretty Girl making many travels around Lexington and Orangeburg counties often with his packing mule named Wyatt and his dog called Butterscotch.  He was predeceased by his dog named Skitterbug.

Survivors include his parents, Woodrow Sherrell Jackson, Jr. and Mary Lee Jumper Jackson; sisters, Kandee Jackson and Sabrina Jackson (Jerry) Free; nieces and nephews, Lauren Flynn, Jeramy (Liesl) Free and Austin Free; great nieces and nephews, Judson Free, Lewis Free, Penelope Free and Blaise Free and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.  Mr. Jackson was predeceased by a brother, Woodrow Sherrell “Skip” Jackson.
