Kenzie J. Letchworth

Kenzie Letchworth of Bamberg, South Carolina passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, after a brief illness.  He was born in Waxhaw, Mississippi to Jack and Nettie Letchworth, along with five brothers and five sisters who preceded him in death.  He was married to Joyce Letchworth for 62 years, who also is deceased.

Ken was a retiree from Lifetime Door in Denmark, South Carolina.  Additionally, for many years traveled internationally as a Representative of the R. G. LeTourneau Company.  He enjoyed his family, visiting his many friends and attending church at First Baptist Church of Bamberg and The Edisto Baptist Church.

A proud veteran, he is survived by his son, Richard (Jill) Letchworth of Pawleys Island, S. C., granddaughter, Mary Katherine (Jay) Cooke of St. Alberts, Edmonton, Ca. and great grandchildren, Henry and Rosie Cook and grandson, Kenzie Jackson Letchworth, III of the Big Island, Hawaii.

He will be honored at a Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M., on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Bamberg First Baptist Church.  His final resting place will be at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Sontag, Mississippi.

The family is being assisted by Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North, South Carolina.
