Kelvin Michael Jumper

Kelvin Michael Jumper, 54, of Swansea, died Sunday, September 21, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Gaston First Baptist Church in Gaston with Rev. Larry Harrison and Rev. Terry Wilder officiating.The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Mr. Jumper was born in Columbia, a son of Kenneth Dewey Jumper, Sr. and the late Verna Batchelor Jumper.He worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 30 years and was a member of the Gaston First Baptist Church.He was an avid Clemson fan. Survivors include his loving wife, Lisa Barnett Jumper, two sons, Thomas Caleb Jumper and Adam Zachary Jumper; four brothers, Rev. Ken (Sally) Jumper, Jr., Keith (Emily) Jumper, Karl Jumper and Kim (Kimberly) Jumper and a number of nieces and nephews.He was predeceased in death by his sister-in-laws, Connie and Tammi. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM, Wednesday, at Gaston First Baptist Church in Gaston and other times at the home, 570 Caldon Road, Swansea, SC 29160.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to C.A.R.E. (Cullen’s Archangel Rescue), P. O. Box 90060, Columbia, SC 29210.The family has requested that dress be casual.
