Joyce Jones

Graveside services for Joyce Anita Boles Jones, 84, of Woodford, will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 10th at Pen Branch Church.Visitation will follow the service. Ms. Jones passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her home.Born on February 7, 1933 in Woodford, she was the daughter of the late Jessie A. and Annie M. Boles. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Anita Rachelle and son-in-law, Barry Elliott.In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her spouse, John T. Jones. She worked tirelessly to support her loved ones. She enjoyed sewing and playing the piano.She loved music, and for over 40 years, enjoyed the traveling, concerts and acquaintance of Waylon Jennings and his band.Even at the age of 80, she continued to visit his sons, attend family concerts and gather with fellow Hossheads. The family would like to thank the devoted, private caregivers over the last few years and the nurses/staff of Amedisys Hospice for their loving care and support of Ms. Joyce.
