John I. Porter, 84, of Norway, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Fred Davis officiating.Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Kentucky along with other members of his family. Mr. Porter was born in Stanford, Kentucky, a son of the late William Franklin and Marie Lyon Porter.He was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church of Neeses, SC.Mr. Porter worked in the Laboratory at the University of Kentucky. Survivors include his friends and caregivers, Ricky and Brenda Bolin of Norway, SC. Friends of Mr. Porter will be received from 10:00 AM until 11:00 PM, one hour before the service at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com).
