Joesph Samuel (Joe) Folk, Jr.

Joseph Samuel (Joe) Folk, Jr., of Ehrhardt, S. C. entered his eternal home with his Jesus on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the age of 55. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Ehrhardt Baptist Church 279 Allen Street Ehrhardt, SC 29081 with Rev Gordon Ackerman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at the church. Joe was born in Bamberg, S. C., on June 19, 1968 to his faithful mother Dorothy Varnadoe Ayer and the late Joseph Samuel Folk, Sr. He was an avid Gamecock fan. Survivors include his daughters, Mikayla Nancy Folk, and Brittany Lynn Folk (Hunter Beach); his sisters, Teresa (Roger) Smith and Charlene Morris; three nieces, Crystal (Nick) Ackerman, Tiffany Hiers and Haley Smith (Schyler Koon); his nephews, Riley Ackerman, Bailey Ackerman, Nicholas (Alex) Morris and Chance Morris, great nieces and great nephews, Miley Morris, Levi Morris, Gracie Morris, Tinsley Koon and Cameron Koon. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Folk and his father Joseph Samuel Folk, Sr. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Ehrhardt Baptist Church family and friends for the kindness and love given to Joe’s family.
