Joan Hutchison Toth, 92, of North, S. C. passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Atwater United Methodist Church, 6380 Waterloo Road, Atwater, Ohio 44201 with Rev. Tina Gallaher officiating. Immediately following the Memorial Service an Interment of Ashes will be held in the Atwater Cemetery, after which the family will receive family and friends back at Atwater United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Mrs. Toth was born in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Early Raymond Hutchison and the late Sara Jane Walker Hutchison. She was a lifetime member of Atwater United Methodist Church, Atwater, Ohio. She also enjoyed attending services and many activities at North First Baptist Church, North, S. C. She enjoyed a hot cup of black coffee along with peanut butter and jelly (blackberry jam) toast every morning, bowling, an exciting card game of Euchre, shopping, eating out and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy every night.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Lee (Steve) Salley and Chrissie (Hugh) Hawley; a son, Steven Toth; grandchildren, Chad (Nycole) Hawley, Clay (Dawn) Hawley, Megan (Chandler) Boltin and Sarina (Brandon) Morgan; step grandchildren, Nick (Brittani) Salley and Matt Salley; great grandchildren, Kade (Tiffany) Hawley, Ashlynn Hawley (Ryan Bursch), Collin Hawley, Klaira Joan Hawley, Gage Hawley, Ashe Boltin, Marley Brooke Morgan and Willow Jane Morgan; step great grandchildren, Jada VanSickle, Jax Salley and Charli-Kate Salley; great-great grandchildren, Weston Hawley and Lainey Hawley; step-grandchildren, Vincent Mark Melendez, Jaiden Melendez and Kaileigh Melendez and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Toth was predeceased by her husband, Steve James Toth and six brothers and sisters.
The family would like to acknowledge her special “Circle of Sunday lunch Friends” in Ohio.
