Jimmy Dwayne Spires

Jimmy Dwayne Spires, 56, of St. Matthews passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A service will follow at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, North, S. C. 29112.

Mr. Spires was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, a son of Elaine Thelma Perkins Wise and the late Elvin Roosevelt Spires.  Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, friends and enjoyed being on the open road with his motorcycle and biker crew.  He was a talented musician who loved his guitar and music.

Survivors include two sons, Cody Spires and Josh (Ashley) Winscher; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Marie (Thomas) Tuten, Tammy Gwinn and Rebecca Acton and his Ride or Die brother, Jody (Miranda) Bowen.  Mr. Spires was predeceased by his wife, Merri Rose Spires.
