Jimmy Self, 72, of North, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M., Sunday, June, 24, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday at the church before the service and other times at the home of Mrs. Nancy Self, 133 Coon Dog Lane, North, SC. Honorary Pallbearers will be the deacons of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Self was born in Greensboro, Ga., a son of the late William Ezra and Annie Claude Herndon Self.He retired from Hamburg Industries after 24 years and later retired again from C.M.C Steel in Columbia. He was a very active member in Fellowship Baptist Church and also served in the Army from 1966-1968. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ann Self; a son, Thomas Lee Self; a daughter, Denise (Michael) Yonn; step-daughter, Paula B. Bryant; step-son, Henry Wallace Boltin, Jr.; a brother, Edward Talmadge (Inez) Self; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by three sisters, Ruby Self, Mary Lee O’Neal and Shirley Ferguson; and two brothers, William Glenn Self and Lucious Howard Self.
