Jimmy Ray Gartman, Jr., 56, of West Columbia, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Highways #3 and #178 (Poole’s Mill).The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 AM at Culler McAlhany Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28, 2021 prior to the service. Mr. Gartman was born in Columbia, S. C., a son of Jimmy Ray Gartman, Sr. and Helen Teresa (Pindak) Gartman.Mr. Gartman was a bulldozer operator, a hard worker and loved his family. Survivors include a son, Clayton Driggers; sister, Teresa Wall; niece, Kelly Wall; great-nieces, Kyley Pruitt and Riley Williamson; and one granddaughter.Mr. Gartman was predeceased by a brother, Arnold Gartman and niece, Kourtney Wall. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home is assisting the family.
