Jeremiah "Jerry" Livingston

Jeremiah “Jerry” B. Livingston, 83, of North, SC, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at First Baptist Church of North with Rev. Brett Mask and Rev. Rick Jones officiating.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Ewers, Rick Free, Brad Livingston, Timothy Amaker, Tim Pritchett and Michael Reed. Mr. Livingston was born in Woodford, SC, a son of the late Homer L. and Dorothy Riley Livingston and was married to the late Fay D. Livingston.He was a Korean War Veteran, a member of the S. C. National Guard and was retired from the Savannah River Plant and Westinghouse.Mr. Livingston was also a Past Master of the North Masonic Lodge #119 and a member of American Legion, Nelson Bass Post #178 in North, SC. Survivors include his children, Melynda Nix (Billy) of Easley, Sonia Hunt (Mike) of Orangeburg, Ron Livingston (Rob) of Harrisburg, PA; sister, Martha L. Ewers of Kingsport, TN.; grandsons, Jacob Nix, Mickey Hunt (Sharron), A. J. Hunt; great-grandchildren, Braden, Karly and Kiersten and a number of nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence H. Livingston. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at the home.
