James Floyd Gleaton

James Floyd Gleaton, 73, of Neeses passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 4:30 on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Springfield Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Jumper officiating. Mr. Gleaton was born in Aiken County, the son of the late Colie B. and Jane Elizabeth Chavis Gleaton.Mr. Gleaton was a US Army veteran, member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church and Beaver Creek Indians.He also loved his dog, Ginger. Survivors include sisters, Jeannette (Harry) Eades, Shirley (Raymond) Hutto and Ann (George) Morris and a brother, Mortino (Mary) Gleaton.He was predeceased by lifelong friend, Ronald Carlyle Bolin; sisters, Vera Sturkie, Callie Mae Williamson, Melba Knox and brothers, David Tony Gleaton, Marvin Gleaton and Willis Lane Gleaton. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30, Saturday, December 7 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com)and other times at the home of Mrs. Shirley Hutto.
