Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Henderson, 55, of Gaston, SC, died Sunday, July 17, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at King Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Cook Addy officiating.Burial will be in Southland Memorial Gardens.The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM. Ms. Henderson was born in Shelby County, Alabama.She was the daughter of Hugh Doyce and Ola Jane Goodwin Champion and a special niece of Hubert and Linda Goodwin of Bellevue, Ohio. Jacqueline loved her job of over 20 years at Lexington School District 4.She loved her grandchildren, her animals and working in her yard, gardening and being outside. Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Henderson Evans (Chris Jeffcoat); son, Brandon Scott Henderson; daughter, Maddie Shumpert (Justin); boyfriend, Bill Swafford; siblings, Debra Boyer; Christy Moncrief (Lee) and Dewayne Kerr; step-daughter, Rachel Hardwick (Greg); grandchildren, Kelsey, Nolan, Parker and Alivia; and a number of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Hannah.She was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Kaye Henderson; son-in-law, Brian Evans; siblings, Terry Hocutt, Rita Damron and Scott Champion, The family will receive friend’s Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
