Ivilda Jeffcoat Bailey

Ivilda J. Bailey, 87, of Swansea, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Swansea with Rev. H. Larry Jones officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mrs. Bailey was a daughter of the late Willie Govan and Ruth Whitaker Jeffcoat.She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and United Methodist Woman.She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and devoted her life to helping others. She was married to the late W.D. Bailey, Sr. Survivors include her children, Nora Bailey, Petey (Mary) Bailey and Ray (llene) Jeffcoat; grandchildren, Jeremy (Beverly) Jeffcoat, Doug (Kim) Jeffcoat, Brandie (Michael) Crider, Dustin (Patti) Bailey, Jordan Alexander, Mckenzie Alexander, Travis Sharpe and Laci Proctor; great-grandchildren, Drake, Jonathan, Kaitlin, Logan, Gabby, Jamie, Jessie, Mya, Meka and Jayda; great-great-grandchildren, Lovie, Bryson, and Marshall. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) in North and other times at the home of Nora Bailey, 255 Copeland Road, Swansea. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Calvary United Methodist Church or St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church in Swansea.
