Horace Cooper, 79, of Swansea, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Sardis Baptist Church in Swansea with Ronnie Cooper officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mr. Cooper was born in Springfield, SC, a son of the late Milton and Polly Bolin Cooper.He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by many. Survivors include his wife Bertie J. Cooper; son, Glenn (Teresa) Cooper; daughter, Wanda Sullivan; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with one expected in September; sister, Gladys Smith of Swansea and brothers, Richard (Grace) Cooper and Norman (Patsy) Cooper of Charleston, SC.He was predeceased by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
