Herbert Franklin Covington

Herbert Franklin Covington, 75, of Swansea, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Mr. Covington was born in Bainbridge, Georgia, a son of the late William Franklin and Gladys Nichols Covington. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille S. “Lucy” Covington; three daughters, Anita Johnson, Janeice Powell and Carmen Lee; two sons, Lonnie Moore and Hebert (Angela) Covington, Jr.; three stepsons and their families; two special step-great-granddaughters, Kadence and Aubree Auten; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Parks and Sherry Bernard. He was predeceased by one sister, Merle Whigman.
