Haywood "Gene" Harrell

Haywood "Gene" Harrell, 73, Neeses, SC, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday September 17, 2015 at Mount Beulah Pentecostal Church with Reverend Legrande Taylor officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The casket will be placed at the church at 12 noon. Mr. Harrell was born in Aulander, NC, November 9, 1941.He was the son of the late Luther Harrell and Lucille Cox Harrell.He was married to the late Mary Elizabeth Harrell for 52 years. Mr Harrell was a retired Master Plumber by trade, loved the Lord, loved cars, collecting knives and had a strong belief in working hard. He is survived by a son Edward Harrell (Sabrina); a daughter Kimberly Harrell Pittman (Craig); four grandsons, Blair, Michael , Drew, and Connor on the way; three great-grandchildren; and, two brothers, Ronald Harrell and Kenneth Harrell (Janet).He was predeceased by two brothers Franklin Harrell and Sidney Harrell. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at 275 Lower Cherokee Road Neeses, SC.
