Harold Bell of Neeses, S. C., age 82, gained his wings and entered the gates of heaven to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, October 16, 2022. He was born April 22, 1940 to the late Joshua and Wilhelmina Bell.
He was predeceased by his sons, Donald Edward and Joshua Randell Bell and one infant great-grandchild; siblings, Charles and Arnold Bell, Judy Nicholson and Joyce Godin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice of 42 years and their daughter, Melanie Bell of Murrells Inlet, S. C.; his four children; Harold Keith (Lianna) Bell of Whittier, N. C., Anna (Kathy) Williamson of Aiken, S.C., Rene` (Teddy) Welch of West Columbia, S. C., Joshua (Lea) Bell of Sumter, S. C.; their mother, Joyce Bell of West Columbia, S. C. and stepson, Jamie King of Neeses, S. C.; fourteen grandchildren; Ashleigh, Harold, Bryan, April, Oliver, Matthew, Zachary, Blake, Brandon, Caitlin, Amera, Ryan, Aiden and Ashtin and eight great grandchildren; siblings, Maggie Roberts, Dorothy Bailey and Carl (Rocky) Bell of Summerville, S. C.; Bessie Oakes of Bonneau, S. C.; Elizabeth Hoffman of Neeses, S. C. and J. D. Bell of Summerton, S. C. and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A very special thanks to all employees of Grove Park Hospice in Orangeburg, S. C. for their kind services.
Services will be held at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, 4541 Savannah Highway, North, S. C. 29112 on Thursday, October 20, 2022. The family will receive friends at 5:00 PM; service at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Alexander Baker and Pastor Robin Thames officiating.
