Hal Benjiman Bolin

Hal Benjiman Bolin, 76, of Gaston, S. C. passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, May 29, 2023 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. H. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Bolin was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Bolin and the late Margie Chavis Bolin. Mr. Bolin served in Korea during Vietnam Era – US Army, he was a Christian man deeply rooted in his faith, didn’t meet strangers and loved children. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Maryline Whittle Bolin; daughters, Sherry Melissa Bolin and Amanda Michelle Bolin; siblings, Luther (Mary Lou) Bolin, Jeanette (Len) Ailiff, Jerry (Marsha) Bolin, Avis (Wayne) Duba and Delaine Mastin; a number of nieces and nephews and two grand-cats, Sullivan and Vinnie. Mr. Bolin was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Hoytt and one grand-cat, Delilah. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, North, S. C. 29112.
