Gwendolyn Gail Creech

Gwendolyn Gail Creech, 71, of North, S. C. passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2023, at First Baptist Church North with Rev. Sean McElrath officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, one hour prior to service.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Ms. Creech was born in Allendale County, a daughter of the late Nolan D. Creech and the late Dorothy Louise Fail Creech.

Survivors include her children, Wendi (Tony) Chavis, Rusty (Shirley) Sturkie and Tod (Melissa) Sturkie; grandchildren, Christen (Rawn) Williamson, Matt (Ashley) Chavis, Zach Chavis, Abbie Marie Sturkie, Jarrett Sturkie, Jacob Sturkie, Patrick Sturkie, Julia King, Makaylyn Sturkie, Ethan Givens and Renee Duncan; great grandchildren, Adisyn St. John, Alyssa Williamson, Colton Chavis, Riley Chavis, Waylon Brown, Mattie Chavis, Devan Brown, Dillon Whittington and Grayson Duncan; one great great grandchild, Nova Whittington; brothers, Nolan "Bubba" (Jan) Creech, Andy (Jana) Creech and a host of nieces and nephews.  Ms. Creech was predeceased by a grandchild, Tod Franklin Sturkie and a great grandchild, Cooper Chavis; one brother, Henry Kearse Creech and her parents, Dot and Nolan Creech.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Sturkie, Jarrett Sturkie, Matt Chavis, Zach Chavis, Colton Chavis and Tony Chavis.
