George Carroll Davis

George Carroll Davis, 72, of Neeses, S. C. passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Neeses Baptist Church, 6412 Savannah Highway, Neeses, S. C. 29107 with Rev. Robert Templeton officiating.  Burial will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 768 Calvary Church Road, Neeses, S. C. 29107.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the funeral, at the church.

Mr. Davis was born in Springfield, S. C., a son of the late Doyle Preston Davis and the late Lelia Mae Hutto Davis.  He was predeceased by his wife, Patty Davis.

Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Davis Lee; a son, Patrick Shane Davis; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis was predeceased by a son, George Preston Davis and a grandson, Joshua Cain Roberts.
