Gary Charles Starnes

Gary Charles Starnes, 72, of Lexington, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 310 Gator Road, Gaston, S. C. 29053. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Clinton United Methodist Church Cemetery, 332 Hollow Creek Road, Salley, S. C. 29137.

He was an avid Nascar fan and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his step-mother, Sue Starnes; sister, Brenda (Sandy) Northcutt; brother-in-law, Joe Williams; nieces, Cindy (Roger) Sandy, Donna (Thomas) Cox and Teri (Jason) Moore; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Buster Starnes and Judy Harman Starnes; and a sister, Evelyn Elaine Starnes Williams.
