Frederick L. Hammond

Mr. Frederick L. Hammond, 81, of Swansea, SC, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the Celestial Memorial Gardens Chapel, 2111 Delree Street, Columbia, SC 29170, with Pastor David Schrodt officiating.Visitation will be in the Celestrial Memorial Gardens Chapel 30 minutes before the service. Mr. Hammond was born in Lexington County, SC, a son of Lenzie and Jessie Mathias Hammond.He was married to the late Betty Wren Hammond.He served in the U. S. Navy and was a former member of Westside Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Lynne Hammond Fallaw and Allison Hammond (Charles) Goodson; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Susan Hammond (J. W.) Parker.
