Ervin Broome "Bubba" Finklea

Ervin Broome "Bubba" Finklea, 64, of Pelion passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2020.Mr. Finklea was born in Florence, South Carolina, the second of three sons of the late Rev. Enoch and Mary (Broome) Finklea.He was a graduate of Pelion High School, Spartanburg Methodist College, and Asbury University.He was a former member of the South Carolina Methodist Conference. Survivors include brothers Sid (Lisa) Finklea of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, and Bennett (Danna) Finklea of Peachtree Corners, Georgia.Also, nieces Megan (Anthony) Miller, Sarah Finklea, and nephew Graham Finklea. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Service plans will be posted on our website when available. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Asbury University, One Macklem Drive, Wilmore, KY40390.
