Eloise Margaret Jackson Strickland

Mrs. Eloise Margaret Jackson Strickland, 96, of North, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2019, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home with Minister Stephen Strickland officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM before the service.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North, SC. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Mrs. Strickland was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Ward and Quinnie Mitchum Jackson.She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was retired from U. S. Plywood. Survivors include a daughter, Sherry (G. L.) Carson; daughter-in-law, Norma S. Strickland; grandchildren, Altman Edmond (Chris) Strickland, Jr., David Charles (Dora) Strickland, Stephen Ward (Tracy) Strickland, Patricia Elloise (Allen) Collins, Matt (Jennifer) Carson, Michael (Terrel) Carson; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.She was predeceased by a son, Altman Edmund “Alton” Strickland, Sr. and brothers, Floyd, O. W., Harry and Wilbur Jackson. Memorials may be made to Jolley Acres, Resident Christmas Fund, 1180 Wolfe Trail, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
