Edward Eugene Harrell

Edward “Eddie” Eugene Harrell passed unexpectedly at age 51 on November 28th with his fiancé, Sabrina Lane, and their son, Lucas Connor Harrell, by his side in Orangeburg, SC. Edward was pre-deceased in death by his Mother, Mary Elizabeth Harrell, his father, Haywood Eugene Harrell. He was survived by his other half, Sabrina Lane, their son, Lucas Connor Harrell and her daughter, Caitlyn Lane; his sister, Kimberly Pittman and husband, Craig Pittman; his nephews, Blair Winslow, Michael Pittman and Drew Winslow; along with many more friends and family. Eddie was a devoted father and partner. He was a man who enjoyed working with his hands. Everything from plumbing and fishing to dabbling in woodworking and carving. He loved to skate and would often reminisce on how great he was back in the day. The skating rink is where he had first met his love, Sabrina. Spending quality time with his family and friends meant the most to him. Eddie especially loved spending time with Connor, teaching him plumbing to watching him 4-wheel around their yard. Eddie had so many more things that he would’ve loved teach his son. He was also an avid baseball fan, particularly fond of the Chicago Cubs. He will be deeply missed by all his friends, family and all that knew him. Eddie was loved across the map so the family will be having a celebration of life in both Neeses, SC and Chesapeake, VA. The dates are to be determined and will be announced after the New Year to give the family time to grieve, especially during this holiday season. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home is assisting the family.
