Edna Gladys Roof

Mrs. Edna Gladys Harley Roof, 85, of North, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Rex Wilson and Rev Marie Ray officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service for viewing. Mrs. Roof was born in North, a daughter of the late Walter D. and Bertie Lee Aultman Harley.She retired from Columbia Metropolitan Airport as a bookkeeper and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Alvin H. Roof; a son Leland Roof; sister, Mary H. Courts; one niece; a number of nephews and a family friend, Ham Livingston.She was predeceased by two brothers, William N. Harley and James H. Harley. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the home of Mrs. Lynn Crout, 3451 Whetstone Road, North, SC.Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) of North is assisting the family with arrangements.
