Edith Ruth Anne Tindall Baker

Edith Ruth Anne Tindall Baker, 71, of Livingston, SC, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her home. Edith was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Julius Carlisle and Annie Ruth Livingston Tindall.She was always full of life, spreading laughter and joy to everyone that crossed her path.Edith enjoyed gardening and her animals.She was a loving mother to Lisa, Connie, and Marion and adored each of her grandchildren. Survivors include daughters, Lisa (Jim) Axson, Connie Rice, and a son, Marion (Kay) Atkins; grandchildren, Ashley Axson, Rebecca Axson, Austin Rice, Alton Atkins, and Karrie Atkins; brothers and sisters, Jean Bentley, O’Neil Tindall, JoAnne (Butch) Jeffcoat and Tony Tindall.She was predeceased by siblings, Sidney Tindall, J.C. Tindall, Jr. and Nelson Tindall. The family will receive friend’s Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Culler-McAlhaney Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Hopewell Southern Methodist Church in Neeses, SC (Sawyerdale Community).Burial will be in the church cemetery.
