Earl Ray Johnson

Earl Ray Johnson, 55, of North, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Earl was born on November 7, 1969 in Texas, a son of the late James and Christine Williams Johnson.  He was the manager of Denmark Piggly Wiggly and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Earl will be missed by his family, extended family and friends.  Survivors include his sisters, Rose Ann Johnson and Mary Ann Gable, nieces and nephews, Cody (Destiny) Johnson, Manuel Williams, Bethany Shepperd and Christopher Gable; and seven great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a half-sister, Joyce Halburn.

Earl was a very devoted worker.  He was known for his dry sense of humor.  If Earl wasn't working, he enjoyed being outside grilling on his porch.  He also liked to fish when time allowed.

Family, friends and those who's life Earl touched are invited to gather for a service to remember and celebrate.  A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. following the visitation on Saturday at the funeral home.  The family would like to ask any family or friends to speak at the service that feel led to do so.

There will be a meal served at First Baptist Church of North Fellowship Hall for any family and friends that would like to attend following the service.
