Dorothy L. McCollum, 88, of North, died Saturday, August 1, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at First Baptist Church of North with Rev. Larry Shull and Rev. Rick Jones Officiating.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. McCollum was born in North, a daughter of the late Johnny and Hattie Blackmon Laird.She was married to the late Louis McCollum and was a member of First Baptist Church of North. Survivors include a son, Ronnie McCollum; grandchildren, Tabitha McCollum, Amanda Hutto, Tammy McCollum and Jimmy McCollum, Jr; great-grandchildren, Alexis Bailey, Alexander Bailey, Christy Hutto, Dalton Hutto, Abigail Hutto and Louis McCollum; and brothers, J.R. Laird and Donnie Laird.She was predeceased by a son, Jimmy McCollum, Sr. and sister, Mary Inabinet. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at Mrs. Dorothy’s home, 8406 Salley Road, North.
