Doris Berneise Tufts

Doris Berneise Tufts, 82, departed this life peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. Born on October 10, 1931 in Orangeburg, SC,Berneise was the beloved child of the late George W. and Laura Williamson-Hutto.Mrs. Tufts was raised in Neeses, SC and married the love of her life, Frank Tufts on March 4, 1950. Together they relocated to Florida where they have been long time residents of Brevard County.Berneise will be remembered as a beautiful and lovable wife, mother, grandmother and sister.She will be deeply missed and remain forever in our hearts. Berneise leaves memories to be cherished by her husband, Frank H.; sons, Rev. Marlin R. of Huntsville, AL and Frank W. Tufts of Orlando, FL; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and a brother Wilson Hutto of Columbia, SC. She is preceded in passing by sisters, Mary Louise Hutto of Columbia, SC, Eloise Hutto of Nesses, SC, and Miriam Vivian Hutto of Norway, SC and by a brother, RubinC. Hutto of Nesses, SC. Services will be held at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, near Neeses, SC at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26. Interment will take place in the Church cemetery following the services.
