Doris “Moma Dot” Jefcoat Poole, 96, of Swansea, SC died Sunday, August 16, 2015. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM Sharon Crossroads United Methodist Church with Rev. Julius Hadden officiating. Mrs. Poole was born in Lexington County, SC, a daughter of the late Colin and Roberta Rowell Jefcoat.She was a member of Sharon Crossroads United Methodist Church and was retired from DHEC Crippled Children’s Division.She was the widow of Daniel W. Poole. Survivors include a son, Tom (Miriam) Poole; daughter, Sandra (Paul) White; grandchildren, Pam (Jody) Hall, Scott Poole and Brad (Hope) Shirley; great-grandchildren, Joe Hall, Catherine Hall, Megan Poole, Rachel Shirley, Bryana Shirley and Blake Melancon and a number of nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters.
