Donnie Clyde Hall

Donnie Clyde Hall, Sr., 68, of Swansea, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at First Baptist Church of North, 405 Stafford Avenue, North with Rev. Sean McElrath officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 594 Calvary Church Road, Neeses. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. before the service at First Baptist Church of North on Wednesday. Mr. Hall was born in Orangeburg County a son of Carolyn Shuman Hall and the late Clyde Donald Hall. Donnie was a good man whose shoes will never be filled. “Papa will fix it.” Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Connie Louise Chavis Hall; children, Connie (Carr) Blankeship, Donnie (Jennifer) Hall, Jr., Tammy E. Bolen, Amanda Blackburn, Wayne (Tilly) Shepherd and Jennifer (Wesley) Hall; grandchildren, Amerie Hall, Ella Hall, A’Aliyah Singleton, Lonnie Bolen, Jr., Katie Bolen, Annabelle Bolen, Cindy Blackburn, Deseray Davis, Megan Westberry, McCoy Barr, Dravon Owens, Morgan Owens, Jalonie Owens, Joshua Doles, Brendon Doles, Kaleb Doles, Kaitlyn Porter, Samantha Hall, Connor Hall, Aiden Hall and Keegan Hall; great-grandchildren, Ava Rouse, Liam Blackburn and Briar Davis; brothers, Lonnie Hall, Tony Hall and Kelvin Hall; a brother-in-law, Jerry Oates; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Louise Hall; and a sister, Misty Oates. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Mrs. Connie Hall near Swansea.
