Donna Kneece Jeffcoat

Donna Marie Dixon Kneece Jeffcoat, 71, of Swansea passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Swansea First Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Wilder officiating.   Burial will follow in Florence Baptist Church Cemetery, 1720 Windy Wood Road, Pelion, South Carolina 29123.

Mrs. Jeffcoat was born in Columbia, S. C., a daughter of the late George Washington Dixon and the late Mary Lou Sharpe Dixon Tindall.  Donna was welcomed home, with opened arms, by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She was a devoted and wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her.  She was well loved by many friends and family and graciously served her community and church for many years.  She was a dedicated Superintendent Secretary for over 30 years for Lexington School District #4.  She always had a smile on her face showing kindness and grace willing to help anyone. Sunday dinners after church were her favorite as she enjoyed being with her family the most.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her!  She was predeceased by the Love of her Life, Wayne Lyndsay Kneece and her beloved best friend, Judy Livingston.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Kneece (Misty Sturkie); a daughter, Kathy (Samson) Chavis; a sister, Julie (Tony) Kneece; grands, Kyrstin Kneece, J.D. Sturkie, Alexis Chavis and Olivia Chavis; step-son, Joshua (Jessica) Jeffcoat and their children; step-daughter, Sharon (Johnathan) Jackson and their children and grandchildren. Mrs. Jeffcoat was predeceased by her first husband, Wayne Lyndsay Kneece and husband, Kenneth O’Neal Jeffcoat; brothers, Thomas Dixon and Robert Tindall.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2022 one hour prior to the service at Swansea First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Swansea First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 550, Swansea, S. C.  29160.

Pall bearers will be Addison Livingston, Jason Liester, J. D. Sturkie, Daniel Martin, David Zeigler and Wilson Lloyd.  Honorary pall bearers will be James Livingston and Perry Adkins.
