Dessaree Hutto Williams, 89, of North, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Neeses with Rev. Legrande Taylor and Rev. Henry Chavis officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mrs. Williams was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Jessie and Mamie Spires Hutto.She was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Thurman “Shorty” Williams; a son, Ricky (Ann) Williams; a daughter, Teresa (Sonny) Balthaser; grandchildren, Chris (Angela) Williams, Gina (Dan) Sneeringer, Michael Adams, Jr., Ashley Churchwell and Brittany Chavis; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lorenzo (Delores) Hutto and Thurston (Wonnie) Hutto; and a number of nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia (Pat) Adams. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) in North and other times at the home of Mr. Shorty Williams.
