Denise Elaine “Nikkie” Chavis Denise Elaine “Nikkie” Chavis, 62, of Neeses passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Mt., Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2610 Ninety-Six Road, Neeses, S. C. 29107 with Rev. Walter Gleaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Mrs. Chavis was born in Orangeburg, SC a daughter of the late Kyzer Chavis and the late Sarah Hutto Chavis. She was the wife of the late Russell L. Chavis. Mrs. Chavis a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church and she loved her family. Survivors include her Companion Russell “Rusty” Callahan of 20 years; 2 daughters, Casey (Lance) Clevenger and Anne Chavis (Antonio Singleton, Sr.); 4 grandchildren, Kyzer Chavis, Lamar Singleton, Antoine Singleton, Jackson Clevenger and Jacob Clevenger; 2 brothers, Johnny (Debbie) Chavis, Victor (Pattie) Chavis; and a sister, Alice (Tommy) Hughes. Mrs. Chavis was predeceased by 1brother, Dennis Chavis, 2 sisters Carolyn Davis and Dianne Carr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, North, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Mt, Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, Youth Department or Women’s Ministry 2610 Ninety-Six Road, Neeses, S. C. 29107.
