Mrs. Debra Strong Landrum of Norway, SC went to be with her Savior on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Orangeburg Baptist Tabernacle, Orangeburg, SC with the Rev.Thomas Brookshire officiating.Burial will be at Norway Cemetery in Norway, SC Born April 5, 1958, she was the daughter of William Lee and Dorothy Laverne Strong.She graduated as class Valedictorian of North High School in 1976. She was a graduate of the Orangeburg School of Nursing and compassionately served her community for 31 years at the Regional Medical Center, TRMC. Her life’s testimony was to always put others before herself. Debra was predeceased by her father, William L. Strong, Sr., her grandson, Gaige W. Landrum, brother in law, Mitchell Haddock and sister in law, Nan Strong. She is survived by her husband George S. Landrum, Jr., her son, George S. Landrum, III, wife Lena (Nikki) Landrum, her daughters Samantha L. Brown, husband Christopher A. Brown and Amanda L. Hawkins, husband Houston A. Hawkins, her Mother Dorothy L. Strong, brothers William L. Strong, Jr. wife Sandra and Thomas V. Strong, sister Theresa L. Haddock, father in law George S. Landrum, Sr. and mother in law Agnes S. Landrum. And eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lee Strong, Curtis Strong, Mitchell Haddock, Jr., Shane Haddock, Joe Miles, Gregory Faulling and alternate Matthew Hawkins. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North SC on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
