Debra Champion Boyer, 62, of North passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the presence of her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at King Grove Baptist Church.Burial will follow in the King Grove Church Cemetery. Mrs. Boyer was born in Talladega County, Alabama, a daughter of the late Hugh Doyce Champion and the late Ola Jane (Goodwin) Champion.Mrs. Boyer was a member of King Grove Baptist Church where she directed the Children’s Ministry and a retired bus driver from Lexington District 4.She loved her family and fishing. Survivors include her fiancée, Kevin Snyder, children, Tonia (Scott) Stone, Tina (Brian) Scott, Joey Boyer, Leighann (Clint) Yon, Jason (Jennifer) Snyder and Erick (Aimee) Snyder; grandchildren, Robbie (Alecia), Alexus, Mason, Brooks, Jackson, Anniston, Wyatt, Zoe, Sebastian, Jaycee and Ben; a great grandchild, Braxton; sister, Christy (Lee) Moncrief; brother, Dwayne (Amber) Kerr and a number of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Boyer was predeceased by her husband, George Melton Boyer; sisters, Jackie Henderson and Rita Damron; brothers, Terry Goodwin and Scott Goodwin and niece, Kimberly Henderson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to King Grove Baptist Church.
